Two persons who were wanted in 26 cases of robbery, loot have been arrested by the CCIB Belagavi branch lead by Inspector Gaddekar today near KLE Hospital.
Mohamad Mulla (26) New Gandhi Nagar, Rafiq A Mulla (24) Tippu Sultan Nagar Belagavi were arrested today by the police as they were wanted in as many as 26 cases in different police stations of the city.
541 Grams of Gold ornaments, 2.1 KG silver articles costing about 16 lakhs was seized from the duo. The police say that they have also robbed houses in neighboring states and cities.
9 cases were registered against them Mal Maruti Police station alone.
