Belagavi: Vayavya Labs, the Belagavi headquartered Embedded Software & Solutions company with over 11 global patents, is in advanced discussions with LG Soft India (LGSI) for an enhanced cooperation. This cooperation could mean establishing a Tech & Software delivery center of Global standards at Belagavi to leverage the facilities and the conducive technical ecosystem of the north Karnataka region.

Vayavya & LGSI teams have seen a steady growth in business engagements especially in Automotive Software in the  past one year. They have collaborated on delivering some of the emerging key technologies responsible for Autonomous & Electric mobility. Both the Companies are now looking at deeper engagements that could result in an enhanced cooperation in the other business areas of LGSI such as Home Appliances, Business Solutions & Communications.

Vayavya CEO R. K. Patil today invited a group of software and technology company founders from Belagavi to interact with the visiting team of LGSI headed by President of LGSI Mr. Vincent (Hojoong) Jeong. The LGSI team along with Vayavya members was on a whirlwind trip to Belagavi to explore long term associations and next level of growth with Belagavi based companies and educational institutions.

R. K. Patil said that Belagavi is an emerging Tier-2 Tech city that has all the potential to be a preferred destination for Software & Technology professionals. The city has excellent connectivity by air and a robust ecosystem that can support major companies like LGSI in the days to come. This also resonates well with the Govt. of Karnataka’s ‘Beyond Bengaluru initiative which was highlighted by ITBT Minister C. N. Ashwathnarayan during his visit to Belagavi to inaugurate Vayavya’s new development center on 5th January this year. The initiative is gaining good momentum as part of the IT Policy 2020-2025 of the Govt. of Karnataka.

LGSI President Jeong stated that the company will positively announce a Tri-party tie-up with VTU along with Vayvaya Labs in the days to come.

He also showed keen interest in benefitting from the software development and allied activities being undertaken by Belagavi based firms who are already servicing global companies from the city.
