Voter Facilitation Centres (VFC) was opened in the two urban Legislative Assembly constituencies of Belgaum North and Belgaum South in the city on Wednesday following the directions of the election commission.
Belgaum South constituency: VFC at Kalamandir, 1st gate
Belgaum North constituency: VFC at Office of the Karnataka Urban Water Supply and Drainage Board in Visvesvaraya Nagar
The centres will function from 8 a.m. to noon and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. except on Monday. On Sunday’s they will function from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. For any clarification, Assistant Returning Officer Uday S. VFC is a single window agency for registration of voters and issue of Elector Photo Identity Card. The elector can carry out modifications in the electoral roll, if required.
The voter can also know about the part in which his or her name has been listed and also concerned polling station at these centres. In case the name of the elector is not included in the voter list, he or she could register afresh.
