The Water supply to Belagavi city has been totally crippled after the pumping station was flooded and all the electrical equipment and panels were submerged in water.
The repair work is in progress and as per the officials who spoke to Belgaum Live, it would take another 3-4 days and by Saturday Water supply would be partially restored.
The Hidkal pumping station is also in very bad condition and the would take more time for repairs and hence from Saturday water supply would be made once in 7 days until the Hidkal pumping station is repaired.
Still, the Hidkal pumping station might require 7-8 days for repairs to complete.
