A youth has been stabbed to death with a screwdriver in Belagavi. The incident occurred near Mahantesh Nagar bridge around noon today, reportedly due to a love affair.
The victim, Ibrahim Gaus (22), a resident of Gandhi Nagar, Belagavi, was in love with a girl. The girl’s brother attacked Ibrahim with a screwdriver when he saw him riding a bike.
Injured, Ibrahim was rushed to a local hospital by concerned citizens but succumbed to his injuries. The incident is being investigated by Mal Maruti Police Station and have arrested the accused Muzzamil.
