The National Investigation Agency (NIA) seized a high-end bike on Monday, which is suspected to be registered in the name of the alleged woman associate of suspended Mumbai Police officer Sachin Vaze.
According to the IndiaToday story, A YouTube video of Sachin Vaze riding the same bike with a biker from Mumbai to Belagavi has also been found by officials. The YouTube video is around four years old.
This would be the ninth vehicle being seized by the NIA after a list of supercars, including Mercedes, Audi, Mitsubishi, Prado, Volvo, and SUVs like Scorpio and Toyota Innova that were being used by Vaze.
Sources said that the high-end imported Benelli bike, priced approximately at around Rs 7 lakh in India, was being used by Sachin Vaze for the past four years, the IndiaToday story adds.
The bike number MH04 GX9696 was later found to registered in the name of Meena George.
The NIA is investigating the alleged role of Sachin Vaze in planting an explosives-laden SUV near industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s residence Antilia on February 25.
