Raju Nayak, Vijay Kamat and Prasad Parmaj earned Super Randonneur (SR) title by completing 200 km, 300 km, 400 km & 600 km cycling.
Prasad Parmaj will add One more title as the youngest SR from North Karnataka (Probably need to get an official word from AIR).
Super Randonneur (SR) title is earned by any rider who completed the super series of 200, 300, 400 & 600 km cycling within the same calendar year (NOV-OCT).
Prasad Parmaj aged 31 is probably the youngest Super Randonneur (North Karnataka) who is social media analyst & also is part of team AAB for a decade.
Raju Nayak aged 54, a banker by profession has completed the SR on the second occasion today, he had achieved this feat earlier as well.
Vijay Kamat aged 44, a businessman has been cycling for the past few years.
All are members of the Venugram cycling Club, Belagavi.
Participation in randonneuring events is part of a long tradition that goes back to the beginning of the sport of cycling in the early 19th century in France and Italy. Friendly camaraderie and perseverance are the hallmarks of RANDONNEURING.
