At the Special Olympics Asia Pacific Games 2013 held at New Castle, Australia, Atish Jadhav won bronze Medal in the 400 mtrs. Free Style in M1 Category with a time of 7 min 49.26 sec. In the same event Gold Medal was bagged by Holstein, Ranon of Australia with a time of 7 min 19.10 sec and Silver Medal by Williams, Jesse of New Zealand with a time of 7 min 44.76 sec. He also participated in 200 mtrs. Free Style and stood 7th .
This is Atish’s second International Medal. Prior to this Atish had participated at the Special Olympics World Summer Games held at Athens, Greece during 25th June to 3rd of July 2011 and had won Gold Medal in 400 mtrs. Free Style.
