Four Boxers of Jain College of Engineering, Belgaum, have been selected in the VTU Boxing team and have been awarded the prestigious ‘University Blue’ status.
Rakesh Desai of 7th Sem (Civil) in 55 kg, Zain Ternikar of 3rd Sem (E & C)in 81kg, Sunilkumar Harobidi of 1st Sem in 48kg, Rohit Vannur of 1st Sem in 90+kg are selected in VTU Boxing team. All the boxers performed exceptionally well in the VTU selection trials. The selected Boxers will be representing VTU Boxing Team in All India Inter University Boxing Championship to be held in Banaras Hindu University,Varanashi from 4th to 12th January 2014.
