In keeping with the tradition of encouraging sports and promoting young talent, a golf tournament (MARATHA GOLF CUP) was organised by THE MARATHA LIRC on 19 May 2013 at EPTA, Belgaum.
The annual Golf tournament is one of the most prestigious golf tournaments in Belgaum in which Golfers of not only Belgaum but also from Pune, Kolhapur and Hubli participate with great enthusiasm.
A total of 91 golfers took to the greens at the picturesque 18 hole course at EPTA, Belgaum. The MARATHA Cup was won by Dr Vinay Dastikop. The prizes were given away by Brigadier Santosh Kurup, Sena Medal Bar, Commandant, The MARATHA LIRC.
