The Food safety officer from The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India inspected various kitchens of Hotels and Canteens in Nehru Nagar area yesterday.
One Hotel was fined for selling a expired soft drink while others were warned to take immediate actions for cleanliness in their kitchens. 15 days have been given to all to update their kitchens and maintain cleanliness.
It may be recalled that a fortnight ago this inspection was commenced in Belgaum.
