The None of the Above (NOTA) option has received an average of 0.78% of the total votes cast in the three Belagavi Assembly constituencies in 2023. This is a decrease from the 1% it received in the 2018 assembly elections.

In Belagavi South, NOTA secured 1599 votes, which accounts for 1% of the total votes cast, placing it in fourth position. There was no change from 2018.

Similarly, in Belagavi Rural, NOTA received 1165 votes, which is 0.57% of the total votes cast, and also placed fourth.

In Belagavi North, NOTA received 1161 votes, accounting for 0.78% of the total votes cast, and again placed fourth.

It is worth noting that the NOTA option allows voters to reject all candidates and express their dissatisfaction with the available choices. While the percentage of votes for NOTA may seem small, it is still a significant number of voters who have chosen to exercise their right to reject all candidates.
