Enforcement of Corona lockdown in Athani taluk leaves much to be desired.People from nearby villages are entering the Taluk headquarter at will in two wheelers without wearing masks and NY throwing social distancing into a toss.They are freely entering and getting out of the town through the first cross of Vidyanagar locality as the main road which is part of State highway is barricaded at Anantpur circle.People are shocked as the authorities are not acting stringently against people wantonly violating almost all Covid lockdown regulations which need to be scrupulously followed.It is high time they make amends to chevkmate thousands of positive cases being traced almost on a daily basis during the last week.
