Patient must not be frightened when he is diagnosed, its not a disease but a defect
Exercise, controlled diet can prolong diabetes
Eat everything with more focus on Grains, then Vegetables, Diary products and least would sweets
Diabetic patient must carry an ID with him all the time and always carry a small sachet of Sugar with him always, which would help in time of Low sugar or Hypoglycemia.
