Atal Tinkering Labs are dedicated works spaces where students (Class 6th to Class 10th) learn innovation skills and develop ideas that will go on to transform India. The labs are powered to acquaint students with state-of-the-art equipment such as 3D printers, robotics & electronics development tools, IoT & sensors etc. The lab activities are designed to spur the spark of creativity and go beyond regular curriculum and textbook learning. The labs will let students explore skills of future such as design and computational thinking, adaptive learning and artificial intelligence.

This is to initiate technology into young minds at a bit earlier age so that they develop an interest into whichever field they choose in the Pre University Education.

Balika Adarsh Vidyalaya received this grant in November 2017 and the ATL was inaugurated on March 3rd, 2018.

I asked a small boy how India can be developed?” He said Mom and Dad don’t know anything of Banking. Like a Piggy Bank, there should be a big bank for the kids like us who know many things of transactions and we can grasp things easily. We will learn to save money rather than wasting it on chocolates and Maggi. We can save and give a surprise to mom and dad on their Birthday. All children will get an ATM card and their scholarships will be put in their accounts on time. These ATM cards will be in our ID cards so that we can swipe easily and can be located if in any danger like many children are kidnapped

This idea influenced me that I should keep learning and that is what I do every day and I enjoy every moment of my work”.

Anuja Tinaikar is a multi-talented and multi-faceted personality who is a voice artist an can dub for many, she is also ATL Incharge, an Anchor, a businesswoman who handled her fathers business.

  1. Balika Adarsh Vidyalaya – that’s my almamater! Mine was among the beginning batches of students enrolled in order to promote the new movement of schools exclusively started to encourage parents to send girls to school. Of course my family always sent their girls to school when there weren’t exclusive schools. The school was modest in all respects in those years. Happy to know it is making advances now.
