Noorondu Nenpu Kannada movie made in Belagavi by Desai’s

Belagavi based debutant producers Suraj Desai and Manish Desai were always eager to make a movie and here is their dream coming true with the Kannada Movie “Noorondu Nenpu” which means Hundreds of Memories under the banner of 3lion Productions with Ameet Joshi as the executive producer.

The film is an adaptation of a Marathi novel Duniyadari written by Suhas Shivalkar on which a Marathi Movie has been made with the same name.

Noorondu Nenpu Kannada movieDirector Kumaresh, who is making his directorial debut in Kannada says Noorondu Nenapu is a period drama that reminiscence the college life of the 80s.
The film is backdrop of 1980s and has been shot in different parts of Belagavi in and around Camp rest of the film was shot in Dharwad and Bengaluru.

We wanted to make a movie and shoot it in Belagavi and our dream has come true. We plan to launch the movie somewhere in February 2017 if all goes well and budget is about 3-4 crores.

Gagan Baderiyan has given some soulful Music which compliments well to the movie and the backdrop of the 80’s. The scripting and dialogues has been written by Praveen Sutar who also hails from Belagavi.

The movie which was shot at the following locations in Belagavi – Cantonment office, Ritz THEATER, Despande chawl, The village restaurant, Haibatti bunglow Uchagaon road, Khanolkar bunglow camp, Bk model school and the St.Mary’s Church in camp to name a few.


With Chetan of Aa Dinagalu fame in the lead along with Meghana Raj, Rajavardhan, Sushmitha Joshi, Archana, Yash Shetty this movie certainly will appeal to the youth.

The movie is now in post production stage and the audio will launched soon.

The Desai’s who hail from a business background from Belagavi ventured into the limelight of movie making and we wish them All the best.
