11,250 square feet of land of CTS No.10564/A which belonged to the Belagavi city corporation has been sold to BJP to build its office.
Around 10 gunthas of land near Dharmanath Bhavan were sold to BJP and the registration was done in March for Rs.77,62,500.
The Corporation is yet to hand over the land to BJP.
BJP plans to build a district-level office on the said land.
In 2014 10 gunthas of land near Sangolli Rayanna Circle was allotted to Congress party for around 54 Lakhs.
