2 Bills tabled in the Assembly

Two significant bills were presented in the Legislative Assembly on Wednesday, marking a crucial step towards progress. The first bill, known as the Karnataka Goods and Services Tax (Second Amendment) Bill, 2023, aims to enhance the existing tax system and promote economic growth. The second bill, titled the Karnataka Public Examination (Measures to Prevent Corruption and Improper Practices in Recruitment) Bill, 2023, seeks to establish stringent measures to combat corruption and ensure fair recruitment practices.

These bills were introduced by the esteemed Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, as well as the Minister for Information Technology and Biotechnology, Priyank Kharge, on behalf of the Chief Minister and Home Minister. Their introduction signifies the government’s commitment to addressing critical issues and fostering a transparent and efficient governance system.
