The Belagavi City Corporation has formed 2 separate teams of Marshals which have been given the rights to fine any person who is violating the COVID norms.
One team each will be active in Belagavi North and South.
They would be in-charge of enforcing the COVID guidelines strictly.
They have been authorized by the Commissioner of City corporation to fine Rs.200 for not wearing masks, or not maintaining social distancing.
They would be on the roads from Thursday and would visit shops and commercial establishments and ask all to follow the rules and guidelines of wearing a mask and keeping social distancing.
Anyone know if we’ll be fined for not wearing a mask while walking on open roads as well?
