On Wednesday 3 deaths were reported due to COVID-19 in the district out of which 2 are from Belagavi city. Total death toll 17 in the district with 6 deaths from the city.
A 77-year-old Male from Kumaraswamy Layout and another 54-year-old from Angol in Belagavi city succumbed to the virus.
One more from Athani taluka also succumbed to COVID virus.
Both the patients reported today as COVID deaths had expired on Monday but their swab results were received now.
