Two individuals who sustained severe injuries in a cylinder blast incident at a residence in Belgaum tragically passed away without receiving medical treatment. On January 28th, in the afternoon, a gas leak from an LPG cylinder occurred at a house in Basavan galli, Belagavi, resulting in five members of the same family sustaining serious injuries.
The injured individuals were promptly admitted to BIMS, where Kamalakshi Bhat (80) and Hemant Bhat (27), both hailing from Udupi, unfortunately succumbed to their injuries.
Additionally, two other injured individuals remain in critical condition, valiantly fighting for their lives.
