A 26-year-old man has been charged for rape of a 6-year-old girl from Kadoli near Belagavi.
The incident occurred on Wednesday evening when the youth named Sunil has been arrested by the Kakati Police now and the police are investigating the matter.
The accused lured the girl with chocolate and then sexually assaulted her.
The police are investigating the matter and further details would be available after the medical examination and interrogation.
There was a lot of outrage against this incident in the village.
A case under PSOCO has been registered at the Kakti Police station.
