According to the Police sources 3 constables of the district armed reserve police force who were on COVID duty have tested positive.
Two of the three served at the Kognoli check post.
Their primary contacts are being traced and would be advised home quarantine.
In another case from Mali Galli a woman bangle seller tested positive and the health officials now have the task of finding all the primary contacts of the woman. As she would have touched the hands of the buyers, the health department is trying to identify them in the next 2-3 days.
A few more cases are also been reported from the city but would be confirmed in the evening bulletin.
Around 8 cases including the 3 policemen and Mali Galli are likely to be reported.
