Four persons assaulted a youth for the trivial reason of touching a two-wheeler while dumping garbage took place in Bhagyanagar Belagavi.
Ashish Shenvi resident of Bhagya Nagar was seriously injured after being hit on the forehead with a stone and injuries to his eyes.
Ashish was going to dump garbage near Datta Mandir at Bhagyanagar 1st Cross on Tuesday night and his hand accidentally touched a bike passing on the road.
The rider of the bike was irked over this issue and he called in his friends, the quarrel began in which Ashish was brutally beaten over this trivial issue.
The locals who gathered tried to stop this, and seeing the locals the attackers left their bikes and fled away. Police are searching for the accused youths.
