Four people have been arrested including a bus as they were trying to enter Karnataka from small roads other than the highway and without RTPCR negative certificate.
RTPCR Test Report is mandatory for those entering Karnataka from Maharashtra.
A few travels used to collect money from passengers saying they will get the test done and used to avoid the Kognoli highway and try to enter Karnataka from rural areas.
Under the guidance of SP Lakshmana Nimbaragi, Additional SP Amarnath Raddi and Nippani DY SP, the team led by CPI Sangamesh was continuously watching the border and arrested 4 from a Maxi cab called Shreyas Travels on Tuesday evening.
The case has been registered at Nippani Rural Police Station. Police have warned that no one can attempt to sneak into the border without proper documents.
