The Belagavi police have taken as many 7 persons of Bangladeshi origin into custody. One was arrested from Pune and other 6 were arrested from Auto Nagar Kanbargi, Belagavi.
One person had come to Belagavi about 8 months ago and got himself Aadhar card, PAN CAR and even a passport and was trying to fled to Dubai from Pune where he was nabbed at the airport. Out of the 7 in custody one is a old woman as well.
All the 7 used to reside in Auto Nagar and used to work as daily labourers in nearby shops.
Mohd Alamin Bepari (26)from Bangladesh came to Auto Nagar and took a bungalow on rent. He then made a affidavit in the local court about his birth and with that he applied for Ration card, Aadhar card and Election ID card.
By bribing the officials it is alleged that he got all these documents even a Passport and VISA to Dubai.
He was nabbed at Pune Airport and the officer there tried to speak to him in Kannada and as he could not understand anything the officer had some doubts and he investigated the person. He could not even speak Marathi and this made the officer alert and he was throughly interrogated and then he himself agreed he was from Bangladesh.
DCP G Radhika has said that, the case has been transferred to Belagavi police and now they have formed special teams to find if there are more such persons residing in Belagavi.
Investigations need to be done about who issued the AADHAR PAN Ration Card and hang them.

sir plz correct your selves, if u have local address an apply for any documents the person who is initiating adhaar pan ration card doesn’t think and investigate about where is he from its not his or her duty to investigate the applying person. And no one is so free now a days to chk all such details. Many People from different part of country and world come and reside in belgaum an yet we can’t recognize who the person is where is he from.
but this immigrants are refugees and a serious issue… police should look after this issue seriously

IN RECENT TIMES, MANY NEW UNKNOWN FACES ARE EMERGING IN CROWDS IN BELGAUM ESPECIALLY IN AUTONAGAR, GANDHI NAGAR, ANAGOL AND SOME SUBERBONS.
SO THOROUGH INVESTIGATION BE MADE IN SO FAR ISSUED RATION CARDS, ADHAR CARDS AND VOTER ID.
Sunil is right Police needs to investigate thoroughly and ensure that all relevant staff who were invloved issuing Aadhar/Pan/Ration card are caught and declared anti- nationals. who for few rupees sell their country..

Being a citizen of belgaum i am trying to change my address in existing aadhar card since last 3 months but is not getting done. Surprised to see how these culprits got aadhar card.
You should come to Shahapur 70 percent of gold jewellery making and processing is done by these people who claim that they have come from west bengal, who knows whats their exact identity.
