Belagavi district has received its consignment of around 80,000 doses of the COVID vaccine.
Around 5,25,000 doses of the vaccine arrived at the Vaccine Depot and the same has been now dispatched to other districts and Belagavi has got its share of 80,000.
With utilization of around 15000 a day it would suffice for 5-7 days.
Next week another lot of vaccines would be delivered,
It may be recalled that vaccination was stopped at many centers due to the non-availability of the Vaccine.
Most of the centres have now got their stock of the vaccine and all those who are eligible and have registered may get their jabs.
With an impetus to increase the vaccination, special drives are been conducted in various areas other than the PHC’s and hospitals.
