A massive convention of “Guarantee Yojana” beneficiaries on Feb 5 at Belagavi

A massive gathering of beneficiaries under the “Guarantee Yojana” is scheduled for February 5 in Belagavi. DC Nitesh Patil announced that a meeting for the beneficiaries of five significant government guarantee schemes, namely Annabhagya, Griha Jyoti, Grila Lakshmi, Shakti, and Yuvanidhi, will take place on February 5 at the Sardar High School ground in Belagavi city.

Presiding over a preliminary meeting on Friday (Feb 2) at the Collectorate’s office hall regarding the convention of guarantee scheme beneficiaries, DC Nitesh Patil emphasized that all beneficiaries will be called to attend a conference focused on the guarantee schemes. Beneficiaries of Annabhagya, Grilahakshmi, Grihajyoti, Yuvanidhi, and Shakti schemes will receive invitations to the convention.

DC Nitesh Patil directed the officials of the concerned department to make necessary preparations for identifying and inviting the beneficiaries. The police department officials are tasked with managing traffic and organizing parking, while health department officials are required to deploy ambulances and medical teams for emergency treatment.

During the meeting, MLA Asif (Raju) Sait highlighted that the government annually allocates 60 thousand crores of rupees. Therefore, the conference aims to raise awareness among beneficiaries of all guarantee schemes. He instructed officials to invite beneficiaries from Grilahakshmi Yojana in Belagavi North, South, and rural constituencies and stressed the importance of including beneficiaries from other guarantee schemes.

Ashoka Dudgunti, Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation, assured that food and drinking water would be provided for the beneficiaries attending the convention.

Following the preliminary meeting, MLA Asif (Raju) Sait and DC Nitesh Patil visited the Sardar High School ground to inspect preparations for the guarantee scheme beneficiaries’ convention. They urged officials to ensure careful planning for the more than fifteen thousand expected participants, avoiding any inconvenience in food, drinking water, parking, etc.

MLA Asif Sait and DC Nitesh Patil appealed to guarantee scheme beneficiaries and citizens to participate in large numbers, emphasizing the city’s location for the convention. DC Nitesh Patil also reviewed preparations for the Ambigar Choudaiya Jayanti program scheduled for Sunday (Feb. 5) at Sardar High School grounds, with the presence of MLA Asif (Raju) Sait, Corporation Commissioner Ashoka Dudgunti, District President of District Gangamatastha Samaj Dilip Kurandawade, and other community leaders.
