A person had been to Kolhapur for her mother’s funeral around 20 days ago, but on June 26 3 members of his family in Kolhapur tested positive and the Kolhapur Municipal Commissioner sends a letter to Belagavi administration about this.
As the Local administration had no clue about it but as his name and address were mentioned in the communication he was instantly traced and shifted to institutional quarantine on July 1.
The Letter stated both his brother and sisters in law had tested positive and hence primary and secondary tracing must be done as per norms.
He is a resident of Shahpur area and he did not know show any symptoms when he was shifted to IQ.
The Local administration is still not clear as to if he had sought permission to go to Kolhapur and for the return.
The person in question now plans to file a case against the local administration as the letter with his name was made public.
