Part of Shastri Nagar sealed down after yesterdays COVID death

A 72-year-old man who had returned from Bengaluru on the earlier in June passed away on July 1 at the BIMS hospital and he had tested positive.

After this COVID death, the area of his residence has now been sealed down by the city corporation as per the norms.

Shastri Nagar near Swaroop theater

Around 15 members have been quarantined and their swabs taken also those in the private clinic have been quarantined.

The total number of COVID deaths in Belagavi district stands at 3.
