Administration ask Hoteliers to reserve all rooms for Assembly session

Ahead of the 10 days Assembly session at Suvarna Vidhana Soudha Belagavi from Nov 13, the district administration has asked the Hoteliers to reserve all rooms for the MLA’s, ministers, Govt staff, Police and others who will be involved in the session.

At the recently convened Hotel Owner’s Association meeting, deputy commissioner Ziaullah told hotel owners to reserve rooms for the session. Apart from 224 MLAs, there will be ministers, secretaries and other officials coming for the session. Accommodation will also be provided for marshals and drivers. Nearly 1,300 to 1,500 people including ministers, MLAs, officials and other staffs are expected. Apart from hotels, the district administration are also looking at guesthouses, hostels and kalyana mantaps.

Hotels have been asked to install CCTV at the entrance and vantage points. Also the hotels must be painted and cleanliness must be maintained and good quality food should be served, the DC added further.
