The Belagavi Bar Association dharna entered the seventh day today for their demand for setting up of the KAT(Karnataka Administrative Tribunal) in Belgaum/Belagavi.
Home minister K J George was in city today who met the advocates and expressed assurance that CM Siddaramaih would give a good ear to this request.
Yesterday the Zilla Panchayat also had passed a resolution in support for the KATR bench in the city.
Suresh Angadi MP, and Firoz Sait, Belagavi north MLA, expressed their full support to the advocates. Yesterday Sanjay Patil had also assured his full support.
