Air Pegasus the low-cost carrier — keeping Bangalore as the hub — will fly 25 sectors daily with three 72-seater ATR aircraft initially.
Its website makes Belgaum as one of the routes. It would basically connect to Bangalore and other southern cities like Chennai,Cochin, Tiruvanthapuram.
Air Pegasus team is also keen on starting operations from Hubli and its team have visited both Belgaum and Hubli airports.
Flight services from Hubli were suspended due to expansion of the runway and airport development and is expected to be operational in November or December.
