  1. Good news atlast, but disappointing that its not daily flight. Even thrice in a week is mistimed. I would like to suggest Fri, Sun and Wed is better & convenient for passengers untill daily flight starts. Thank you.

  2. No one knows the logic ,why the Airport was extended?why the fights with ATR-72-600 are put in operation when the Airport is suitable for A320 Aircrafts? Why there is a flight only to Bangalore that to 3 times a week, when actually an A320 Aircraft should have been operated between Bangalore and Mumbai via Belgaum?

  3. Things one cannot digest:-
1.No one understands the logic of extending the runway suitable for A320 & Boeing 737-800 Aircraft and making ATR-72-600 land.
2.There is a good load factor between Belgaum -Bangalore and Belgaum -Mumbai.A A320 /Boeing 737-800Aircraft could be made operational with a Hopover at Belgaum.
3.There are only 3 flights a week to Bangalore and no other city.
4.This is akin to giving a peppermint when a Cadbury Chocolate is required.
5.The stir Save IXG should be continued.

  4. Gr8!! Awaiting to see Air india flight from Mumbai to Belagavi , this shall be a best international connection for huge number of NRIs in Belagavi struggling to reach their home travelling +500km ( Mumbai or Bangalore) with larger luggage thereby increasing the flight occupancy around the year. #airindia

  6. Belgaum political leaders have will to get flight connectivity. You can see the progress made by Hubli airport due political backing of local MP who had announced two years back that he would see that Air India would operate A319 flights to Mumbai and Bangalore and he saw that the same is fulfilled. We need such powerful leaders for Belgaum.
