Basavaraj Bommai, Karnataka Chief Minister said the government organized a special Covid-19 vaccination drive on September 17 across the state, with a target to administer 25 to 30 lakh doses that day.
Belagavi district has a target of 3 lakh doses and it had reached 2,60,180 jabs

10 lakh first doses are still pending in the Belagavi district and for this, even private hospitals will be roped in who will also give free vaccines on that day.
The required vaccines were supplied by the health dept to the private hospitals today.
