Another set of 8 Roads will be converted as Smart Roads – Auto Nagar Road, Reliance Office Road, Stadium Front Road, Stadium Back Road, Udaya School Road, Kptcl Substation Road, Kanbargi Lake Road And Kanbargi Lake Cross Road at a cost of Rs.23,14,62,000.
Already 18 roads are in the pipeline to be converted as Smart road and not even one has been completed as yet to actually get a feel of the smart roads.
The first road to be made as a smart road KPTCL road, even after 12 months is incomplete and still very unclear as to when the same would be commissioned.
Currently Mandoli Road and KPTCL road are been made as smart roads in addition to it now Congress road, Sangolli Rayanna circle to Market Police Station, Kapileshwar Colony Road, SPM road, Mahatma Phule Road, Cantonment Vegetable market road, Mandoli Road, Shukurwar Peth, Sangolli Rayanna Circle To Jijamata Chowk, Market Police Station To Circuit House Road are also planned to be made as Smart roads.
In the name of smart roads some people ( You all know) earning smart cash…..
We should ask these smart ppl working on smart road project to ride from hindalga Ganpati to central Jail. Sadly our MLA who was active till elections has forgotten about her promises she made.
All they do is put those numbers up to show that they are doing something, but in actuality soon after they lists those projects, they go into hibernation mode, if and when they wake up they find nothing has been done, no finished products to show, if there is a finished product/ project it might not have been done with best quality materials which means it would soon be in need of repair the following week. Cheap products into the projects and more money into the pockets of managing staff. Good job!
They should work on Angol road, Near KLE engineering College. It’s very worst ,They stopped construction after elections got over. KUWS board had dug roads for underground drainage pipeline but they never repaired the road after that. I Hope relevant authorities will take action regarding the issue.
