Anti-Corruption Bureau raids ACF house in Belagavi

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted a raid on Chandragouda B Patil, Assistant Conservator of Forest, Khanapur sub division, Belagavi.

The ACB teams had conducted Raids in Bengaluru yesterday and today they have come conducted raids in Belagavi and also Chidanand B Minchinal, Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE), Rural Drinking Water Supply, Bagalkot, according to sources in the ACB.

According to the ACB, raids were conducted after allegations of irregularities were made against the officials. The Raids were commenced as early as 6 AM in the morning.

With respect to the raid in Belagavi, they were simultaneously conducted at

three places – at the residence of Chandragouda in Ramathirtha Nagar in the city, his office in Khanapur and his brother’s residence in Bailhongal.

ACB is yet to officially declare as to the findings in the raid.
