WORLD ART DAY is being celebrated all over the world on 15th April on the occasion of great master Leonardo Da Vinci ‘s birth anniversary and the local artists of Belagavi have come together for the second year in succession to organize a one day event on the occasion at the Cantonment Board compound Camp Belagavi.
Various artists gathered and also moved their hands magically to create some great paintings on the spot.
While we spoke to many artists present there each one categorically said that there has to be some concrete effort by the Govt to create a platform where all kinds of artistic activities can be done under one roof and also an art gallery in which the creations could be showcased.
The artists have given a memorandum to the Smart City office to include an Art hub where ever they are building community halls under the smart city project.
