Some members and supporters of the BJP today burnt an effigy of Suresh Angadi at Tilak chowk this evening over the alleged delay in announcing the official candidate of the BJP for North and South.
The protesters were from North Constituency and they said that they were in two minds as the party has not made an official stand or declared its candidates. A few persons are saying that they have got the B form and hence they are the official BJP candidate but there has been no official announcement until now.
A similar protest was held at Basveshwar Circle as well again by BJP party workers.
Since yesterday there is a photo going viral of Anil Benake and Abhay Patil holding B Form in their hands, but no announcement to that effect has been made as yet. This has irked the party workers.
