Nasir Papulsab Bagwan aged 60 who has filed his nomination again from Khanapur AC is as of now the richest candidate in the district with assets worth 191 crores. He has filed his nomination as a JD(s) candidate he had filed nominations earlier as well for Assembly and Loksabha elections.
He has declared a total wealth of Rs. 191 crore that includes movable and immovable assets. The Khanapur-based trader is into agriculture and business. He has no inherited property to his name and he started a business after his ITI. He does not possess any gold or jewellery and has no vehicles, though his children have purchased some vehicles. He was earlier in the Congress.
In 2014 Loksabha elections he had declared assets worth 96 crore and liabilities worth 9 crores. He has declared himself as a businessman and agriculturist in his affidavit and is 12th pass and also passed Vocational Course-ITI.
