Sitting MLA of the MES Sambhaji Patil has filed nomination paper frim Belagavi North constituency on Tuesday.

Earlier it was in the news that due to his ill health he wont contest elections this year.
In 2013 elections Sambhaji Patil had won against Abhaykumr Patil of the BJP. This time sources and political pundits say that Sambhaji Patil could stand in north and try his luck. On social media infact about a couple of days back “Tiger Zinda Hai” slogans with Sambhaji Patil’s photo started making rounds when it was clear that he would again contest this time.
