Assembly session at SVS Belgaum in November

Assembly speaker Kagodu Thimmappa speaking to media persons said the government plans to hold the winter session in second week of November in Belgaum. The dates will be announced at the end of this month. A high-level meeting will be held in Bangalore within a week to chalk out an action plan for making effective use of Suvarna Soudha and also making it a tourist attraction.svs-visit

There is a proposal to develop a garden at a cost of Rs 13 crore around SVS for people to sit and relax. Besides constructing a Legislators’ Home on the premises, there’s a plan to have 100 houses in the first phase. He said that a recommendation to conduct at least four cabinet meetings in a year at Suvarna Soudha would be made to the State government.
The 16 legislature-level committees have been instructed to hold meetings once a month in SVS.
