Due to Russia suddenly invading Ukraine, the Indian government has launched a 24-hour helpline to assist Indian students who are still stuck.
As per sources most of these are medical students and have taken shelter in bunkers in the colleges.
Amogha Chougala, Priya Nidagundi, Priya Chhabbi, Suraj Bagoji, Preeti Chhabbi, Shreya H, Rakshit G, Afreen M have been identified as the ones who are in Ukraine.
Deputy Commissioner MG Hiremath has however he has received information about 3 students only as of now. More information is trickling in from the Indian embassy as students are registering on the helpline numbers and official figures would be released by the govt soon.
