Bittoo: Bapu.

Bapu: Yes Bittoo.

Bittoo: Heard a Bengaluru-based non-government organization has organized three-day wellness program for Belagavi police officers and personnel this weekend Bapu.

Bapu: Yes. It is from Aug.10 to 12. Police officers and personnel will be imparted training on how to lead a stress-free life.

Bittoo: I also heard about a special session on the topic ‘Detoxing body, mind and soul’ Bapu.

Bapu: Yes, both the police and the organization seem to have felt the need for such a program.

Bittoo: Bapu, don’t our morning prayers help in detoxifying mind and soul?

Bapu: O’course! They do.

Bittoo:  Yet, inspite of regular morning prayers, aren’t there many whose mind and soul didn’t detoxify and continue to be corrupt Bapu?
And, will a short time detoxification program will achieve the desired results Bapu?

Bapu: I don’t know Bittoo.

This is a citizen-centric new column, wherein the author(Bitto) is an ordinary, politically unaffiliated common man of the city who in his/her inimitable approach takes up various issues with the Bapu’s soul! Apparently, the interaction between them portrays ironies of sorts encountered by the common man and others in the city in a lighter vein. The author’s name will not be disclosed to the readers as he/she represents the common man of the society. This column aims at creating awareness and sensitising cross sections of our city on various issues of public concern only but in a lighter vein without holding any contempt against any institution or individual.
