Belagavi Airport new terminal building: Tender floated for 229.57 Cr

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has recently issued tenders for “Architectural Consultancy Services for Construction of New Terminal Buildings and miscellaneous works at Hubli and Belagavi Airports.” The project is expected to be completed within a period of 36 months, with an Open Date set for July 17, 2023.

The estimated cost for the construction of the Belagavi Terminal building and other associated works is Rs. 229.57 Cr.

The Belagavi Terminal Building will cover an area of 20,000 square meters, comprising 16,400 square meters for the New Terminal Building and an additional 3,600 square meters for the Conversion of the Existing Terminal into Arrivals.

Once the structural plan has been submitted and approved, the actual construction work for the terminal is scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2024. The entire project is anticipated to take approximately 36 months to reach completion.

Belagavi Terminal Building is 20,000 Sqm (16,400 Sqm for the New Terminal Building + 3600 Sqm for the Conversion of the Existing Terminal into Arrivals).

It is worth noting that the existing terminal building at Belagavi Airport was inaugurated in September 2017.

With a completion period of 36 months, we anticipate that the new terminal buildings and associated works will be ready to serve the growing needs of passengers and airlines by Jan 2027. The estimated cost for the Belagavi Terminal building and other works is Rs. 229.57 Cr, reflecting our commitment to delivering high-quality infrastructure within budgetary constraints.
