Belagavi airport is being upgraded and is on schedule, Roshan Baig responded to a question asked by Mr Veeranna mattikatti in the Vidhan Parishad on Friday.
The state government has an agreement with Airport authority of India and the airport will be upgraded to accommodate and function of Airbus 321. Also the road connecting the airport and Suvarna Soudha would be converted to 4 lane roads.
Although, it is good news for Belgaum residents, greater attention is needed to improve road and rail networks which is widely used by common man. The Central Bus Stand needs special mention here not forgetting railway over bridges.
We need flyovers,tunnels for train in Tlkwadi.
