Subhash Chougule (57) founder president of the Ajanta Film Society since 1982, was also responsible for the opening of the new Ajanta Cultural Centre at Visvesvaraya Nagar passed away this morning at a private hospital. He is survived by wife and two daughters.
He worked as a State government employee and served as personal assistant to the former MLA Ramesh L. Kudachi. Presently, he was serving as PA to Feroz N. Sait, MLA (Belagavi North).
He was admitted to hospital for over a month now but he did not respond to the treatment. His body was donated to the Belgaum Institute of Medical Sciences.
