MLA north Anil Benake has announced that the work on three floors of the Belagavi Super Multi Hospital in the BIMS premises has been completed and the hospital is set to be inaugurated by the end of December. Benake held a meeting with officials to review the progress of the hospital and discussed the issue of equipment and manpower shortages. The officials will meet with the CM and the Health Minister to address these issues. Benake stressed that it is important to ensure the hospital is equipped before inaugurating it.

Today, after reviewing the work of the hospital in BIMS premises, he held a meeting with the officials and said that the hospital will be inaugurated at the end of the session.
Meanwhile, the pending work should be completed, he opined.
It was decided that tomorrow they will meet the CM and the Health Minister and the District In-charge Minister and discuss manpower and equipment shortage.
Speaking to the media, Benake added, it was decided that the work on the two floors would be completed in November, and the same has been done accordingly.
There is a shortage of equipment and manpower, and hence the same will be brought to the notice of the CM and the health minister.
He said that it is not right to inaugurate a hospital without equipment, so we will discuss it with the concerned.
