Deputy Commissioner Nitesh Patil recently at the review meeting held with District in-charge minister Govind Karjol said that Belagavi city will get new 37 thousand LED lamps.
All the said lamps have been given a deadline of 5 weeks for installation.
He directed that the installation of lights was going on at a slow pace and should be completed within the time limit.
Patil further added that as the winter session is approaching, the works of road, smart city, and municipal corporation should be completed on priority.
Most of the street lights in the city are non-functional but at the same become functional on priority during the Winter session.
37 thousand LED lamps happy to hear and hope the electricity will be avail for lighting these lamps every night…..
