The Maharashtra State Yellur board in the outskirts of the city was damaged last midnight by miscreants.
Villagers said that they had come in an Ambulance with all tools and damaged the board.
Today the winter session of the assembly would begin at 1130 and at the same time the Maha Melava will also begin at Subhash Chandra Bose grounds.
A new board has now been installed at the same place now.
